Apart from anime, coffee, and Korean dramas, I'm also a passionate foodie! Burgers are my number one prized food, those who know me can attest to that. There are some who would claim my love for burgers borders on obsession, but that's a baseless accusation.

Anyway, I revel in exploring different dishes. Pasta dishes are those that could possibly, potentially, just maybe...challenge burgers as my number one selection. Alright, that's not entirely true, burgers will always come first, but pasta has its own level of deliciousness! Plus there are so many various ways to make it, especially with seafood! I thought about sharing a few very popular pasta dishes with shrimp as the main seafood. I'm not usually a big fan of shrimp, but after seeing some of these recipes, I may just have to change that!
Shrimp Scampi
Surprisingly perhaps to a few of you, the first crowd-pleasing dish to mention in this list is shrimp scampi. This is one that can be served either by itself or with a pasta of your choosing, linguine and angel hair are the usual choices. Diverse herbs can be added as well, but the trademark of this dish is that the shrimp is cooked in garlic, butter, and white wine. Cook and prep time can be a bit lengthy, but here's a 16-Minute Meal: Shrimp Scampi recipe I found that's worth trying!

Shrimp Stir-Fry
Stir-fry itself is an older cooking technique born in Asian culture. This is a tactic that enables you to cook a meal faster by chopping the used ingredients into small pieces. In fact, from what I've learned, when making any kind of stir-fry, smaller is key! You can go the traditional route of using egg or Japanese udon noodles or even rice in the stir-fry, but what happens when you add shrimp to the mix? Check out this Shrimp & Snow Pea Stir Fry recipe to find out!
Shrimp & Pesto
Of all the sauces used in pasta dishes, pesto is probably my all-time favorite, though alfredo sauce is in close competition. Both contain parmesan cheese which I love, but perchance it could be the basil herb in pesto that further draws me to it. Additionally, it's not that difficult to make either! In this Pesto Shrimp Asparagus Pasta recipe, there are steps for making the sauce from scratch along with the pasta dish!
There's a vast pool of yummy-looking shrimp pasta meals to dive into, but these are the options that caught my attention and came up the most. I'm not sure about you, but I definitely want to try my hand at cooking all of them. Choosing what to eat is a daunting task, but this just made things a little bit easier! I hope you try them out too!
